For example if I move from low cost of living area to high cost of living area does the company re-evaluate the base salary within USA? Consulting has gone down hill and I see no end in sight

^I've seen this occur from managers who avoid giving negative feedback even when they need to. So, you might just be average afterall. Hope that helps 😄

Every services firm right now. The future is disrupted and decision makers are under pressure to “do something with AI”. Pilots are easy, scaling is hard. Keep yourself focused on building skills and competency. Never lose sight of your own “value proposition”. I have seen many consultants in my career who lost sight of their own value curve until it was too late
