I’m a backend engineer with 6 years of experience, currently in Bangalore earning (X-4) LPA (X-7.5 fixed + 15% variable). I’ve got two offers and could use some advice:

1. JP Morgan (Bangalore): X LPA fixed + undisclosed bonus

2. BlackRock (Gurgaon): (X + 3) LPA fixed + 12% variable

The work-life balance at my current job is good, but I’ve seen mixed reviews about both JP Morgan (CIB LOB) and BlackRock, especially around work-life balance.

Is the higher pay worth the move?

In the offer letter the "Provident Fund" And "gratuity" Is mentioned. In the salary calculation in hand, we will not consider these amounts right? As these components are received when someone retires..right? .. Please confirm.

Hi All. I have a good job offer but I'm wondering whether I should negotiate comp. I made it clear from the beginning what my target for base comp was which is ~$10K over the top of the posted salary range for the job. I also said that I was comfortable proceeding with the interview process despite the top of that range being lower (somewhat weakening my position for later I suppose). The offer is at the very top of the range. Bonus is 5% less than what I get in my current job. Negotiate?

1.I had two offers one is with Cognizant with 11.55LPA fixed + 45,000 variable pay. I was offered L1 position(designation - Associate).
- Only day shifts(no rotational weekoff's) + I get afternoon shift allowance around 5k per month.
-As per the Manager mention it's mostly WFH we need to come to office at least one month in every 6months(duration).

2.HCL offered L2 position with 10LPA(Around 1.5 Variable pay is included)
-No shift allowance
-Rotational shifts including night

People who are in product based companies. PLEASE do not join SERVICE base companies.

Move from service base to product base is good but not viceversa.

I got an offer from X company with a 45% hike and my current company manager matched that offer instantly. Now company X offered me another 45% hike which is a total of 90%hike. Now I am a bit confused to decide. If I resign from my current company, not sure if it is ethical since my manager respected me and has matched my offer instantly. Any suggestions?
