Problem with package of 4 LPA? then ask your Sister to get more package, push for more.
It depends upon how are you asking about the expenses between single person or having a family
4LPA will gives anywhere between 26-28k takehome + 2000 PF
If this not gonna work for a fresher, then really its time to push for more!
Considering joining as fresher, staying in PG, This amount is luxurious for a starter of a single person.
Leave about the place as along as there is no family involved to take care of.
If family involved,considering 4, shifting from one place to another, settling in bangalore /Chennai /hyderabad.
In Mumbai its much more.
The mere starting 2bhk price is 14k in Chennai /bangalore /hyderabad anywhere with 900sqft.(at sometimes it is 1bhk too, cause as per rules made: 700sqft with 1bhk is luxurious lifestyle)
The rest yes, as you said - involving a family to take care of, may not gonna meet month ends considering health related, recharges, etc etc expenses!

Your sister didn't have to take care of the family if you are a men you have to she can live a good life in that salary and can explore the things she always wanted to don't worry much.
