If I could redesign my comp it would be simple, it would just be bigger. I wouldn't care much about bonuses or other intangibles. What I'd prioritize would be a higher salary. As it stands now, any raises we get are barely keeping pace with inflation.

I'm with you 100% on keeping it simple: just make the paycheck bigger and skip the complicated bonuses or "perks" that don't always add up. My 3% bump last year felt exactly like you described – nice on paper, but once inflation hits groceries, gas, and everything else, it's basically a wash (or worse).
Happy New Year! I would love to have a higher salary and more flexibility, in that order. I've got a good amount of PTO and our benefits are great. I'm just struggling to pay for everything as a single parent on my salary. If that wasn't in the cards, WFH flexibility would be the next best thing. It'd make taking care of my kids a whole lot easier.

I hear you loud and clear: higher base salary first, everything else second. When you're covering childcare, school stuff, groceries that keep going up, and all the unexpected kid expenses, those "great benefits" and extra PTO are nice, but they don't pay the bills directly. My salary feels solid on paper, but as a parent too, some months it's still tight especially with inflation hovering around 2.7% late last year and everything feeling pricier.

Happy New Year! If I could redesign my package, I’d definitely prioritise a bigger paycheck and flexibility, like working from home. That would make a huge difference!
I agree with you Implementation Manager 1. Being able to work from home would make a huge difference. I have never had that kind of flexibility.
