Pre-sales and solution ownership of sales pursuits data analytics related services for cloud b. Own end to end RFP or RFI etc. Does it mean work is on presales only ?

I don’t have experience keeping budgets in any role that I have apart from my side business…which is not on my resume. What should I do to get it experience in the cost part of project management?

I’m currently in the process of being converted from contractor to permanent. In my initial conversations I was under the impression that I was in a different pay grade and asked for a salary 25k higher than the max allotted for my position. I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Yet all of these associates say they are “at capacity”, and myself and another associate still end up being assigned work instead of them. How do we handle this? For reference, all associates are around the firms minimum requirement, it’s just that a few of us are 30+% over and it is leading to burnout.
