Why on earth would you want to live near Times Square? It’s terrible
Hells kitchen
Consider across Hudson River in NJ eg 6515 boulevard east West New York NJ has 700 square feet 1 bedroom apartments for rent at $1400 plus minus all to yourself. Bus right outside building puts you in port authority bus terminal in half hour. I used to live there.
Harbor 1500, Weehawken with the best view of the city, one bus stop to port authority!
Have you established how often you will be working at Times Sq, not at clients.
Hello Kitchen, Upper West, or Upper than that with the 2-3 express stops.
Upper East near 2nd Ave line will also drop you off in TSq
2500 on an 80k base? crazy
@EY - I don’t understand! Why do you want to spend 30% - 40% of your salary on Housing? (Considering you make 100k on the whole).
Depending on where you sre it msy nit be bad. Another reasonsble area is the UES and many people start our in murray Hill
😂😂😂😂 thdnjs fur the advuce
Normandie Court on the UES - 15 min max to your office. Great for kids starting out and a lot more to do up there than people thing.
Otherwise, look in Murray Hill or Hell’s Kitchen.
@Goldman Sachs 1, I just want to be near enough so my commit is 15 min or less walking. Or 10-15 min on rails
@ IB Associate 1, I hear Hell’s Kitchen a lot. Do you recommend any specific complexes?
@UBS 1, I’ll be in the Valuation & Modeling practice so probably 99% in HQ. Appreciate the insight, I’ll look into it. Any properties you recommend?
@TA 1 I just want to have a decent spot
Hella kitchen can be cheap if you don’t mind locking up five flights of stairs and OK with not having a doorman
