It's about standard or slightly above for a new manager, though most have lower YoE (around 5-7 for that pay band).
I was making a base slightly more than that 4.5 years in, but with general consulting skillset, so for me it seems low if all your 10 YoE are relevant.
Having said that if it's outside of London your cost of living is probably peanuts, so it might not be a bad offer considering that.
Honestly, no idea. It relative to what other people make at your level in ACN in that practice.
That seems very low for your experience. I'm a level 9 in s and c and making base £69K
6.5 years and no MBA, but a business masters
Seems slightly lower for your experience but consulting experience has higher value. Especially if you’re coming in as Manager there’s an expectation that you’ll have a solid foundation to manage client relationships, support sales and manage mixed teams (onshore/offshore and client). You can add another few years of YoE in the industry but it won’t materially make a difference unless you step up to a senior level or niche expertise.
They most likely are basing your salary on your existing package and industry pay bands. If you want them to revise the offer, be specific as to what element of the offer and what your expectations are. Realistically, it may not influence any change.
A few years of experience as Manager will make a bigger difference in the medium to long term. If this offer is significantly better than what you’re on currently (+bonus), I’d say take it.
