Hey this is related to a product based company. Why are companies not hiring 1+ year experienced people in software dev roles?
But I had saw many people transition to a product based company with 1-1.5+ experience.
Nowadays I can't see any such job postings. If you people have answers please share.
Also I saw that Product based companies payscale differs for IIT, VIT, NIT, vs Tier2/Tier3 colleges. Is this the same applies to experienced people too? Google Microsoft Walmart Visa Atlassian

On an initial call with a company's recruiter, I was told the salary range. I said that the base pay is lower than what I make now, but with equity it's about equal, so it would be ok. If I actually receive an offer after the interview process, can I ask the company to match or at least get closer on the base pay? I'm also up for promotion this year so like to get a higher salary, but not sure if by saying "ok" to the recruiter's salary range that it'd look bad to ask for more later.c
