Just give him that hawk tuah
@D1 - how do you have two wives? and how are you managing to survive with two of them? Only one wife is enough to push me into an early grave.
Say thanks and return the favor when he’s sick. Spouses are supposed to support each other normally…
Would love if my husband would take care of things when I'm sick lol. Any tips for teaching him how to be more like this? I feel like I have to ask for every single thing.. he doesn't see anything that's not done around the house. BUT if he did (lol) I would thank him by taking him out or making his favorite dinner/ or buying concert/comedy tickets or writing a sweet note. Or all of the above!
Postive reinforcement
Just be nice to him with words and plenty of physical affection
Or you could just communicate verbally how much you appreciate their care. Some men just want a thank you or I love you and appreciate everything you do for me.
What is his love language? Focus on that. I’m sure that will be what he desires.
Maybe you can treat him to a nice dinner now that you're recovered...but aren't partners supposed to be supportive and amazing when we're sick anyway?
🙄 buzz kill
I don’t think you need to do anything expensive - just the thought that counts. Truly any acknowledgement of the extra load he carried while you were sick is very sweet.
Leave his favorite snack on his desk with a card thanking him for being so amazing (maybe throw in a certificate for a BJ or something else silly/sexy)
Plan a “hubby day” it can be as expensive/inexpensive as you want, but make it thoughtful with activities that he enjoys. All about him.
I think it’s awesome that you want to do something nice for him since he took such good care of you while you were sick. Find a nice restaurant with a solid menu and good drink options, if he’s into that, and just make sure he knows you appreciate him every single day.
