Well sh*t...what’re y’all doing?

Did 4 rounds of interviews. Last 2 with 2 partners at EY. Haven’t heard back even after 1 month. One partner even commented “you will be a good addition to the team”. Hiring manager gave EY email after her interview call with me.
Fast forward two weeks, no communication. Recruiting was surprised that I was still chasing for this position, month later. Got to know last week that hiring team was continuing to interview candidates. Should I drop the idea to get hired? EY hasn’t rejected me yet.
‘Tis but a scratch!!

I did exactly this. J1 was sucking so I got J2. Started J2 in January knowing I would quit J1 in March after I got my bonus. J1 got a lot better so now I’m going to work both jobs as long as I can!
No they can’t. Not after it’s in your account! Why do you think there’s such an exodus in the March - April timeframe?
In the meantime, you can try doing https://www.overemployed.com for as long as you can. You’d be surprised how much better job 1 becomes when you get a job 2. I think it’s because you now have options, you can always tell the jerks at J1 to stuff it and walk out. It’s also very nice to have multiple full time salaries coming in 😏
Agreed! The allure of having multiple sources of income is ideal but the only reason I picked up J2 was because I’m at my wits end with J1! I appreciate the response and will chug along as long as possible (provided I can make it to bonus day!!) thanks again!
