Hi all, i have 2 years 5 months experience in java full stack but not worked on java 8. currently i am learning the features. please suggest how quickly i can study for the interviews and what important things to keep in mind before giving interviews. i am getting rejected after 2nd rounds multiple times as they are asking me very advanced concepts like spring boot security in depth, caching, etc.

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

I hardly see positions advertised on the websites of these firms but there are vacancies that they seem to recruit for through recruiters. What’s the deal here? Does it make sense to approach firms by yourself at all? Would appreciate any insight I can get on the matter. Thank you!

How does the referral system work? Should I apply from the website and then ask for a referral or is there a chance to ask for an employee to refer internally? Would the latter option be considered ahead of the first option?

Urgently need advise. I have an oral offer from a company. After I negotiated for salary , they told that we have decided to drop your candidature. Then I requested I am okay with the offered salay and can join immediately. She told me to write over mail to her & her manager. I did that. I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.

If a hiring manager wants to talk to you again that’s a good sign right? I’m just bracing myself for this offer😅

I am a sixth-year associate overseeing a second year. They are an exceptionally good associate. I am honestly shocked at the work product I receive and the way they go above and beyond. The issue I have is that they sometimes take awhile to turn things around. For example, I ask for a draft response to the client, and they take three-four days.
