Hi All, I have a strong finance background and have been expanding into technology and contract management and am trying to land a role at Google or another big tech firm. What advice do you have for a foot in the door at these firms? Applying on the website and even with a referral doesn’t seem to be effective enough to land an interview

Controversial question - what are some roles/functions to avoid at Google for ex-management consultants, in terms of potential under-utilization of skills and limited career progression? Common exit opps tend to be in StratOps, PMM, PgM/Solutions Consultant, roles in Sales; would anyone not recommend any of these roles?

Have calls to "defund the police" led to hiring freezes, loss of pay increases, or other negative financial effects on officers and detectives in your location?

How many days will it take for Wells Fargo to release the offer letter ?

In the late stages of an interview for an in-house role and just got referred to my ideal role at Google. The hiring manager is very interested. I’m afraid I’ll be in a difficult position where I accept an offer and leave within two months or not accept the offer and not get the job at Google.
