Joining BNP Paribas for role of Senior BA in bangalore, is the Bangalore office new? How many employees are there? How is company culture? Management etc, I had other offers from societe generale and hsbc similar offer but in hsbc the role was of a manager in compliance risk analytics domain, bnp is in trade and investment banking domain, I choose bnp, was it a good choice?

I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?

Any particular segment of sales good for ex-finance? Currently 3 years in at fortune 100 bank on business development side (on commercial loan originations team but no commission/targets at the associate level, basically do credit analysis and build pitch books for the producers) This role has been great as I have gotten both analytical experience and tasted sales experience (I say taste bc I’m not the producer) but would potentially like to transition to a sales role that is less analytical

I am in a super good position at Jellyfish as a Director with a good room in terms of growth. Great responsibilities, work life balance and I strongly love my job. However, there is an opportunity to join Google Dublin as an Agency Development Manager (level 4) with strong salary, new challenges, different role and responsibilities etc. I HAVE A STRONG DOUBT about a trade off: is better to have a strong margin of growth and a good position or join Google with the above conditions?

Need some inputs. My BU just went into a reorg which has benefitted me and I got a promise to a fast track promotion within 18 months of my joining. However, I’m passionate about a pm role and have got an offer for a rotation position. I’m not sure how to bring it up to my supervisor considering they made that promise only recently. Happy humpday! I’m trying to get a sense of who’s in the bowl and the types of orgs, agencies and companies folks work for to have a sense of what would be helpful content to share. I’ll start, I’m an attorney at a civil rights nonprofit (going on five years) and previously worked for the fed govt.

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

What would you do in this situation?

Have my first final round interview! I've already interviewed with the lead of the group, this is another interview with her + the person directly under her.

Trying to level set expectations...are final round interviews more of a gut check to see if you're the right person for the position? Just trying to understand what % of final rounds are successful lol.

I’ve completed the first interview with the hiring manager and a colleague, and have been fortunate to get to the next stage but im unsure how to prepare. Hi peeps. It seems there is very little work across floor in GDS. They are changing SSL especially of new joiners to get the required util. And changed SSL is no match to your skills. Really weird
