I have just been told by my POC that the hiring for chat is on hold and they are not certain when they will start the hiring for chat. I gave the interview for chat last month and I was told that I have cleared all the rounds and my joining will be from the next month (July) but now all of a sudden they are saying this.
I am scared and don't know what should I do.
Does anyone know when they will start the hiring for chat?BT British Telecom

Just commiseration. I was laid of in Jan also and still floating. I used to think I was great at interviewing, and I’ve gotten to second and even third round a few times but zero offers. It’s so rough and hard on the self esteem!
Yeah I totally understand! I thought I had an AMAZING interview and was forsure going to get a job offer (which btw was 20k lower than my asking, but hey times are tough) and I was rejected. But hey rejection is just redirection right? 💫
That's so frustrating. Have you had anyone review your resume? Sometimes a few little tweaks can really make a difference in response rate. I'd also try posting in the job referrals bowl. Might get more eyes on your post there. Good luck!

I was laid off in Feb and it’s really rough out there. I thought I had a job a few times and I ended up not getting offers or not getting a 2nd/3rd interview b/c there were other people with more experience (I have 5 yrs of CSM/AM experience and 15+ yrs of experience within customer facing roles). It just goes to show you how competitive it is.
It can really take a toll so I took a week to decompress and then I rewrote my resume. I had an amazing resume but times are tough and I had to write a resume based on what I thought would be important to recruiters and hiring managers for the rolls I was applying for. Since then, I’ve applied to a lot of jobs but I got 3 interviews from direct applying and I have 3 interviews through connections.
I’ll link the format I used b/c I find it really helpful right now with 100’s of people applying for the same jobs. Also, while your unemployed if you’re not already PM certified I’d work on that.
Professional experience goes on the second page but I can only attach 1 photo. You can find this on Andrea Logan’s LinkedIn, download it, and either upload it to Canva or Adobe.
