Better coworkers, culture, and WLB. Lower TC (growth) and market prestige generally. BAS tends to be staff aug.
Actually surprised they're offering you P, normally they'd make a Big 4 SC lateral.
From what I’ve heard it can vary a LOT by what local office you’re in, especially with regard to culture and meaningful work opportunities (probably even among different practices within a local market). That said, my personal experience has been great. WLB they really walk the walk, lots of interesting work in the industries I enjoy, most pleasant bunch of people I’ve ever worked with.

So, SC at D is actually M everywhere else!

First rule of FB: Always assume a comment about D to be a joke 😂

I joined right after making SC at Deloitte, where I was since college. Been here almost a year and loving it so far.
WLB lives up to the hype (I’ve worked past 5 like 2 times and that was by choice).
It’s much more segmented by office, which I like, since it makes the culture more authentic and you actually have a community outside your project.
My comp went up significantly with the switch since I was homegrown at D.
How quickly you can get promoted seems to very alot more than at D. I’ve seen people with support who have gotten 3 promotions in 3 years, and others who choose to stay at one level for 5+ years.
Thanks a lot for the insights sc1
Slalom is more localized to your office. You can get out of market projects though so you aren’t restricted to local. They local office events make you feel more connected. I’d say Slalom is more personable that the Big 4
I’d say that localized to office is becoming less and less true. Anecdotally, our global teams seem to be growing faster than local markets
Culture at Slalom is very passive aggressive. It is a 50/50 shot at a great experience or a career disaster. Not the worth the risk unless you are getting well compensated relative to other ops or have a solid agreement about work you will be doing.
