I'm currently working in an MNC as software developer with 12.5 LPA. My Total experience is around 9 years.
Now I got offer from Nielsen media, banglore with 40% hike. Can someone please suggest if this is good offer to accept? I'm just concerned about the job security at Nielsen. Can you please throw some light on this and advise whether to accept or reject this offer?

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer?
Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)

I asked HR about the same as my joining is near and still no joining date mentioned but not getting any response.
