I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.
Any suggestions?

I'm in South Florida. Currently a 6 year associate at a small firm (~12 attorneys, 55 staff). Making a move towards Managing Attorney position that they are considering hiring from outside the firm for. I'm going to make the case that they should promote from within and give me the position. What sorts of SQL questions are typically asked in interview questions for senior data analysis jobs? Like is knowing SQL from freecodecamp enough or should I look into taking a course online?

I’ve unfortunately not gotten the chance to use SQL in my current position so I don’t feel like I have enough experience in it, but have experience in everything else (Python, tableau, storytelling, etc)

Career wise: if you had to choose between Allstate or USAA which would you choose? It’s both for the same position of unrepresented bodily injury adjuster.

Hi all, I’m currently a year into a role at a top tier firm. Team and WLB are great but growth prospects are unclear and not a sector of long term interest. My manager hasn’t been able to articulate his medium term vision and how my role fits into that and doesn’t seem concerned that I’m overqualified for the support nature of my role. I’m making it to offer stages for other roles offering me over 30% more than I currently earn and with very strong prospects. Am I being to hasty in wanting out?

I work in a director position that calls for a significant amount of work that can be done effectively (& efficiently) in a remote setting. I’ll be returning to work following maternity leave and have proposed a hybrid schedule of 3 in-person and 2 remote days each week with flexibility to increase my in-person days as needed. I’m a Jr litigation associate at a small firm. Juniors are constantly told to bill for all their time and outs the partners responsibility to write time down. Envelope math:
* $125k/year would require an investment portfolio of ~$3M.

Therefore, 6.5-7M retirement savings needed. To hit this (assuming 6% return after inflation), I’d need to save ~$110k/year.
