Hi all - I've recently transitioned into AFS after 6 years at LLP. With the incoming administration funding for my project was cut and I'll be hitting the bench for the first time. I was told by my TFS that AFS only gives you two weeks to find a project??? how accurate is this? to put it in perspective, I'm as proactive and project-hungry as it gets when it comes to finding a new project and LLP bench has been so bad after the past few years that this seems unreasonable to me. Any insight helps

My therapist just told me I'm depressed..do you ever feel like they tell you things you hear a lot or could have figured out on your own? Like take care of yourself, it's ok to feel such and such, etc. I'm still newer to therapy so wondering if that's the common experience? Do you ever have moments where you're like wow that actually is eye opening and I wouldn't have gotten that from reading self help books and websites etc?

4. Started career with a bank, after 5 years I moved to Manual testing.
5. Total 7+ years of experience with 7-8 types of Loans with Indian+ UAE banks.
6. Managed 2 manual testing projects independently with 5 team members and 1 is on.
7. Working as Senior Tester at 8Lpa.

My contract is ending 12/31/22 and can’t be extended legally according to our CFO. Worked in various increasingly responsible roles at the same organization as a FT employee in IT for 17 years and then took a buyout and chilled doing side gigs for 18 months then came back as temporary contract staff for the last 3.8 years as Business Analyst and Technical Writer. I just had the initial call with HR. I was told that Senior Analysts start at 56k and Business Operations Specialists start at 67k. I was told the next step was Junior Manager but they rarely started anyone at that level. I'm shocked. Is that accurate or are they trying to lower my expectations? I had my Assessor interview this past week and received a pre-screening questionnaire that asked about dual citizenship status. Because I don't even have a passport for the country I am a dual citizen for, I didn't even think about the possibile complications this could lead to with my application. I applied through a career fair at school and didn't see the citizenship requirements, so I guess that's on me.
