1. Strategy bands are higher, 30k difference on base levels.
2. 8+ years if leading projects you could jump over as Level 7 (Manager) or Level 8 (assoc manager).
3. Yes. You can also get them to provide you paid study leave for up to 3 weeks a year on top of everything else if you’re studying. It’s all a discussion with you MD. If they don’t, you can test the hot market and inform them you have numerous paper offers. They will ask for it and you can show them it. However, Accenture are constrained by bands. So if you’re level 9/8 and in consulting. You could max out at 140k. Strategy is higher. Level 7 band is 140k to about 180k.

I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? I’m so burnt out by big law and this seems like an awesome opportunity to help shape a newish company. Any tips on how to figure out if this is the right move for me?

UK market is open only for niche skillsets ( Data engineer + analytics). Firms aren't interested in sponsoring rest all skill sets, as they can be filled internally. They have limited quota every year, and are very choosy when it comes to allocation. Preference is first given to EU nationals and then Asians during shortlist stage.

Referral works, but the person who is referring you should have enough clout in the organization to present your profile!

I have limited privacy experience despite being hired for that reason… Have my CIPM and CIPP/US /E and /C. Remote preferred; hubs is pilot with cool intl transfer opportunities. Money isn’t issue.

Hi all -
Sorry for the long rant, but could use advice or just encouragement.

Got laid off for the first time in my career 3 weeks ago. I have 10 years of PM experience (mostly ecommerce & experimentation). I was fortunate in the past to have had recruiters scout me directly so this is the first time in over a decade that I am applying to everything that I’m qualified for, mostly qualified for, and way over qualified for with zero leads. Only 3 interviews thus far that didn’t go forward.
