Is 7 weeks too early to start thinking I may have made a huge mistake in switching to my current gig? I left the last place because it was overr toxic and terrible W/L balance, for one that seemed to be more “fun” and more realistic hours, only to find that I’ve now been working 12 -14 hours a day and just drowning and feeling like I cannot catch up or catch my breath. Hi! I’m a young professional with less than 2 years experience, started a new job 1.5 months ago. I’m having quite some difficulties on balancing out my response time to tasks. While I act incredibly fast if not immediately with some, I sometimes take 1-2 weeks with couple of hours worthy ones. Sometimes I ignore, procrastinate or simply other more urgent things come up to increase the delay. Also I work with 3 managers in my team which doesn’t help with expectations nor guidance. Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
