I’m a Frontend developer with total 4.5 YOE and 3 YOE in React JS.

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.

I am currently working on SAP CPI,PIPO,CPI-DS (basically Integration as a whole) development (also attend Support issues regularly) with experience of around 1 year. My leads are quite happy with my works.

For career growth, what shall be my ideal path ahead?
1. Only concentrate on Integration

Outside counsel has been prepping company witnesses for a trial in August. It is my subject area so I am supervising outside counsel. I did not, however, choose the counsel. He is doing a really awful job. Co counsel is better, but not great either. Higher ups love the firm… I do not want to micromanage, but I have genuine concerns about outside counsel’s ability to try this case. Trials are rare, and I just don’t think these guys have actually tried many cases. Cont. below…

My anxiety makes me good at my job. My incessant checking, and double checking, and analyzing has earned me praise, trust, and early promotions. Société Generalé has offered 2.2 lakh as variable with 9.8 fixed. But previously it used to give only 70k - 80k variable which people would surely get 100% and above that based on performance. Hi fishes. I need one advice.

I was offered a role at a firm, but they put in on hold with no info on the date. There was no joining letter given, just verbal confirmation.
In the mean time, i got another offer and they wanted immediate joining. The HR was not willing to negotiate the date at all, so i onboarded. It has been 2 weeks.
The 1st firm has now confirmed the role & it's much better pay and role wise.
Is leaving it justified with what good reason can be given to move ?

I have dropped my paper in current organization and have been offered from IBM now the problem is I have been retained in my current organization by giving the same amount which has been offered to me and I had accepted the offer letter from IBM as well before as I was not sure that I will be retained here.
