I’ve been to a kava/kratom bar and gotta tell you the people there were totally out of it. Everyone says it’s not chemically addictive but I don’t think it’s a good idea if you’re someone who has a history of abusing substances. Kava is gabaergic and dopaminergic while kratom acts on serotonin receptors.
Yea you also should make it a point to stay away from naltrexone. It'll make you feel sick if you take mix the two (extra incentive to stay clean).
It'll take the edge off of your dope sick, but it's not a long term fix. There are behavioral elements to addiction that substitution can't fix. Inevitably if you want to be clean you'll want to learn how to do life sober and then how to love life sober. That's in my opinion a better way to live than being dependent on something else (whatever it is) to feel ok.
I totally agree. I guess I was more so asking for a short term solution
