Marcus. Is it the best rates? Probably not but it’s all relatively close enough and a good experience for me

Nerd Wallet / bank rate both publish lists of current HYSA rates.
I’ve used Capital One since before it was Capital One. They aren’t always the top rate, but they’re usually pretty close. I also have a credit card from them, so I like having multiple accounts available behind a single login
I’ve been with Ally Bank for 4 years. Not sure if they have the best rate but I’ve been loyal to them.
I like Ally as well, we’ve been with them forever. I like that you can split the pot into several buckets. Keeps everything separate and makes it easy to track things like my travel fund versus my house maintenance fund.

I've had both Ally and Marcus for years, but Marcus has had a better rate than Ally almost the entire time, so that's where I tend to keep the bulk of my money usually.
Currently I have my money in a regional bank because they had a 4.25% promo for 6 months, but it's been really annoying. Their online banking is barely functional. So I'll be moving my money back to Marcus and closing the regional account immediately after the promo ends.
I’ve had good experience with Marcus by Goldman Sachs
I do Fidelity brokerage with SPAXX. Link all my credit cards and auto payments to that, so it functions like a savings account more or less.
I read recently it pays less than 1% though?
I’ve heard Bread Savings for a while now and their rates are decent
I’ve been using EverBank…. 3.90% on any balance, no minimums… and money usually moves next business day…
Check out raisin.com. Central platform for smaller, regional banks that offer better rates than bigger banks but still FDIC insured. I’ve been using them for few years now.
I love Wealthfront. Have all my financial institutions connected in one place and track my NW + savings goals.
Lmk if you’d like a referral, we’d both get a 0.5% APY boost.
Fidelity invested in total market fund and Schd.
Those aren’t high yield savings accounts
