I followed up and Recruitor said she hasn’t received an update. It’s been almost 8 WDs and still not heard anything. Do I stand a chance of getting an offer. I am on edge. What are people’s experiences is this the typical timeline. I have seen the job listing removed although it shows I am under consideration in their portal. Very confusing! Ta.

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.

Are there mid day networking events? An extroverted friend in a new-to-them remote role has recently realized they miss people though they like the work & employer. Any suggested mid day networking events or other ideas?
