fair enough. I'd check out a basic intro CS textbook(any should do) and it should talk about efficiency. it's also a fun problem to self study! think about various functions you use in your work (product, sum, factorial, etc.) and think about how many operations it would need
no disrespect, but unless you are dealing with MASSIVE data it does not matter.
only assumptions should be that "devs are lazy and shouldn't also be DBAs on POCs that turn into production systems"
I know there is a lot of good content on stack overflow etc, but always appreciated book structure etc. (hoping there is something more targeted on enhancements vs the OCA study books which feel targeted more towards DBA function
No offense taken - just trying to learn 🙂 We typically work with hundreds of millions, sometimes billions of records in our RDBMS environment, which can add up on processing time, even after basic indexes, temp tables, etc.
