What do you think a social worker with 8 years of experience should be making in Santa Barbara, CA? So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.

Don't have any family near me and it's hard to make friends with non-SW's mostly just because I'm too tired after work to want to do much. Do you spend most of your time alone or is your social time self care for you? Just feel like I don't have a support system!
