I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.

Is it awkward to bring up the possibility of annual merit raise (usually done at end of year) with my boss now? YOE : 7.8 i have an offer from IBM and HCL.
