Currently i have 2.2 years of experience in manual testing with current annual ctc 5.5 LPA , i have upskilled my self in field of testing with automation testing with basic Rest Assured api automation and Playwright+javascript for web automation testing. If an interviewer asks what is my expected salary in that case what should i say , how much do range do you think my expected salary should be ?

I accepted a job offer in April to start a few months from now, post clerkship. All conflicts/background check went smoothly etc. Since accepting my offer, the firm has increased their 1st year pay across the board to be higher than my offer was (which was, at the time, what 2nd yeas got). When should I reach out to the recruitment attorney leading up to my start date? Or should I? (Haven't spoken since May) Should I bring up the salary or just assume its higher?
