I applied to BCG and received an email from them telling me I was on the waitlist for interviews. What is the chances of getting an interview if I am on the waitlist? I am not well connected with BCGers, any recommendations on who to contact? Do any one of you think they can help me or connect me to someone willing to help from the inside? I applied to Atlanta, Boston, and Miami. I am on a F1 visa which makes things harder, MBB being kind of my only options.

Interviewing for the SVP, Product Management (remote) role at Salesforce. What is the comp range and structure that I should expect?

I realize it may vary by company, but does putting a referrers work email (with their knowledge and permission) on the relevant portion of the job application help increase the chances that your application is seen?

Usually it's the part of the application where it asks how you heard about the position and if you select the "company X employee" option, it will ask for their company email.

I’ve been approached outside the firm for a number of roles and take interviews for the practice. Today a start up SaaS company called and when i gave my base salary expectation (which i thought would be wildly out of range) it was not even a flinch and “well within range” no wonder there’s a staffing shortage at pwc, these guys are throwing money at us, and I’m in marketing!!!!!

Toronto banks: remote or not? They sometimes post jobs where it doesn’t say it’s remote, but no branch/ location/address either. Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. So, if you work at TD, Scotia, RBC, could you let everybody know in the comments what’s the deal for each? Are you remote, on-site, hybrid of some sort?

What’s the rationale of people who move from FAANG, MBB or MSFT to small companies?

Why Interviewer want to insult candidate rather respect them ? Why 99% interviewer ask candidate about Pluto. I mean ask something which has no relation with application, project. Why this mind set ?? Why thr is a ego fight. If I know everything why I will join your company. We are not Architect !! Only those 6 companies have Interview pattern. Does anyone ever actually make offers? Just when i get through 3-4 rounds and think it’s gotta be near an offer stage, it’s like oh wait, here’s three more interviews plus a case study and a panel presentation. Then wait an indeterminate amount of time for a decision, or for more interviews.

Hey guys, should I let recruiters blanket me? I usually go through networking, but I feel like that’s becoming too stressful and long of a process. But if blanketed, I can’t reapply to those firms for 6 months if nothing results. Could use some advice.

Looking at 2 offers to start my career off after grad school. One is for a very well known engineering company that pays more, has less work/life balance, and doesn’t seem to offer much career development. The other company is lesser known as their product isn’t commercial, but it’s a unique rotation program with significant career development. Is name recognition an important thing to consider here?
