I am currently a student pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management. I am considering getting a certification, like FMAA to help myself stand out when applying for jobs.
How impactful do you believe these certifications are when trying to secure a position? Any advice or other recommendations are welcome.

I feel like I’ve lost myself since joining McK. My whole world has become about work. I love my job but I’m not the same person I started and I feel I don’t connect with my friends and family the way I use to. I’m not sure if I’ve grown, or lost a part of myself. Is this growing up or do I need to make a career change?

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

I think I’m finally burnt out on agency life. What’s a logical next step? Freelance? In-house? A new career all together?

Hi fellow PMs, Question for the group: has anyone here made the switch from being a creative agency PM to a digital producer or digital agency PM? I.e. going from managing creative projects like TV to managing website builds/UX projects. If so, what was the transition like and what helped you get your bearings in the new environment? I’m thinking about making the switch myself but I don’t have a digital background.

Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful. I don’t do big lavish gifts but each year I feel pressure to or he won’t be happy. When I say this he immediately launches into “haven’t I done this for you, bought that for you”. “If you loved me you would”.
