It sounds like that you need to set boundaries of what your responsibilities are and at the same time the hours of expected work because as a CSM while you are there to help with everything and items like that if it goes beyond the scope of the hours that you were paid to work you need to have a conversation of if you need me to do things it needs to be addressed earlier in the day that rather than at 4 o’clock on a Friday afternoon
Here’s a corrected version:
Thanks for your reply. At this company, everyone is working overtime. They are understaffed and underpaid.
Can I buy a period or two?!?! I see that English is your 3rd language so I won't harp on the giant run on sentence any more.
Ask questions. Set boundaries. Document what is asked of you. And lastly, do your best!
It's not uncommon to feel overwhelmed or lost when starting a new job. This company sounds like it's a bit of a mess. I would jump in and start somewhere. Find a person, probably not your manager, that seems nice and you can learn from. Keep the job search going in the meantime. It's, oddly enough, easier to get a job when you already have a job.
I like this response
Look for another job
Thanks. Yeah I'm applying
prepare to be unemployed again
Where are you at? This sounds familiar
The horses name is Friday?
Better if OP write his question in native language in Google translate, then paste the translation.
Just by this post alone... I'm baffled you even got a fucking job...
Thanks a lot for everyone to take time to answer my question
As several have noted, there is are clearly communication issues between you and your manger. Find what method works best for you, (talking, writing, face to face) in order to level set on expectations. Follow up if you are not clear and ask questions. It's much better to ask questions in order to clarify tasks and duties.
I understand English isn't you first language but it isn't mine either.
You needed the $ so you took the job and you do't like it. Welcome to the real world.
Swallow the pill, go to work and talk to your manager about expectations and job responsibilities. If she is a good manager she will answer your questions. If she is not a good manager, than here is the next step.
Since you don't like this job you should be already looking for another job. So, look for another job.
The sooner you get another job, the sooner you have a chance to be happier. Good luck to you.
Your question is not terribly clear, but I think that you need to talk this through with friends or family. You may be in a situation where your manager's expectations of you are unreasonable, and you need to decide if you can accept that for the time being while you search for a better situation. In the meantime, you need to tell your manager what you are willing to do and what is not okay for you. Good luck!
I can barely understand what you're writing about.
Did your manager write you an email on Friday firing you or asking you to do something? Were your work hours over at 4pm? What, if anything, is unreasonable about the manager's request? What kind of work are they expecting you to do that you (don't?) understand and was that a job requirement when you applied?
Never met a good manager over my 40 years of work. They are not people oriented anymore, just get the job done so they can get credit for it.
Start looking for a new role. Systems like that can’t be fixed. #RUN
I would "grin and bear it" and get right back to looking. Personally I don't consider going to the office 3 times a week that big of a deal. Low salary kind of indicates that you should not be planning to stay anyway. I have always said "I need to either be paid very well or treated very well." I will say a prayer for you.
