After my HR round today, Hr called up and said that will move forward with the offer but approvals with higher management might take some time as there is a hiring freeze.
Do you think offer will be released? And how much time these approvals take ?

She mentioned at the end that they are definitely going to offer as all feedbacks are positive.

I spoke with a recruiter recently about a position in her company and before we even began talking about the job, she asked if I needed an sponsorship, I told her no, I dont need one. But she continued to press on the subject until I had to tell her I was a US citizen. I dont know why, but the whole conversation made me extremely uncomfortable. So my question is, can recruiters ask you about your visa/immigration status even when I told her I didnt need a sponsorship??

I started in my first SDR position in a small SaaS start up few months ago. I am the only SDR and their first ever.
The base salary is ok but I haven’t received any commission structure up to this day.
I book an average of 3-5 demos per week. People always show up, but the thing that worries me is that I do not have a way to track how many meetings I book in our CRM,and to be honest I feel like I didn’t get the best training overall. Should I start looking somewhere else? Thoughts?

I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. Dubai people I live in Marquise Square tower and my neighbor is having a party literally every day till 4-5 in the morning- I spoke to him and he apologized and promised to keep it quiet but he didn’t. So I spoke to the security if they can tell them to calm down and the security said that he can’t do anything as it’s the weekend! Is that normal or should they give me a noise compliance and force him to stay quiet after some time.

Didn't have top grades, wasn't on law review. Worked at a midsize firm and was laid off in march-- have about 3 years experience in a hot practice area. Have been applying and had some interviews at larger shops but nothing has come of it. I'm still applying to roles (not many out there) in my area but coming to the realization based on number of larger firm rejection letter that I may not find a role.
