About to get promoted at PwC from Associate to Senior Associate (mgmt consulting). I interviewed at Deloitte for a Consultant position, but they’re potentially giving me an offer for BA. I’d essentially be holding out on the promo until next promo cycle. Usually, I’d understand hiring at a level below for higher levels but I feel like doing a 3rd year as a junior might not be the best decision. Should I push HR for Consultant level? I am on a stress leave. Every time I look at emails from work, the less encouraged I am to return. It is so overwhelming! I want to finish out the year, but will definitely not be making it back next year. So many things have changed, and next year there will be all kinds of change and turmoil. I am sad to be leaving on such a low note. I always envisioned retiring at the top of my game, having a party...etc...

I am being offered 17lpa fixed + 1.7lpa variable by Mckinsey Bangalore and 14.5lpa fixed + 1.5lpa Joining bonus by Deutsche Telekom WFH.

Both are offering me a SDE 1 position.
