Market Research people can easily switch to MC but some they need some experience. I have lot of friends who moved from Markets&Markets, IHS, EvalueServe etc to Accenture Strategy, KPMG. And they are not from Tier 1/2 colleges. Just keep an eye on the openings and ask for referrals.
Thank you very much for the insight:)
Not possible without tier 1/2 mba. Skills required for mc roles are not that complex, anybody can switch into it.
Almost all functional type roles should have business analytics skills like Python,R SQL,excel,powerbi/tableau etc
