How much salary can I get from Deloitte US India with 2.2 years of experience in business analyst for consulting position? My current package is 4.50 LPA. I hold an offer for 10 LPA already with some fortune 500 firm. Also, i am about to get promoted in current organisation.

I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. Do large law firms really recieve enough applications for a position that they cannot follow up when someone reaches out to check on thier application? I get that if you have to reach out, they probably weren't interested anyways, I'm just curious why there is a practice of just leaving applicants in the wind.
