Does anyone know which country’s U.S embassy is open to renew US visa stamp for H1B ? I know Canada closed the borders until May 31. Just wondering what other countries are good options now given the pandemic. Thanks.

Is it okay if I get fired from D after my H1B transfer for the new employer gets approved ?

If I have a valid H1B until May 2025, will the i131 being denied have any impact on me? I need to travel out of country and I know that’ll result in i131 being denied automatically. I have filed for 485 in July 2022 and hopeful that it’ll get approved before my H1B has to be renewed in May 2025. Is there any risk of travel king out of country multiple times on H1B before 485 approval?

Hi all, my H1B got approved today and I am waiting on the actual physical notice. In parallel I have a L2 EAD extension request in process. My H1B is valid from oct 1 only. Can I withdraw my L2 tomorrow? Is it okie if I am out of status for nine days? I am worried that the L2 will get approved. If it does get approved, what do I do?

My company is paying for one credit card. I'm leaning towards Amex Platinum given the large 100k sign up bonus at the moment (which I'll be able to hit). People lean towards CSR because of the 3x on dining but I don't eat out that much (and additional perks, but I prefer the Amex for that).

I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time? Like unreasonably denying clear facts, or trying to fish for a way to sanction you? Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. I don’t think HR or government is for me anymore and looking to find something new, now 24 feel I have a lot of transferable skills and knowledge but worried about private companies in other professions taking me seriously.
