After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

Join any dam company in world but dont join lala company HCL. Worked there for 20 days only last yr and 1year later i got my relieving letter after multiple tortures of legal notices for not serving notice period even though when they themselves released me.. from 160k to 0 that i paid them. I could easily sue them for harrasment but i didn't wanted to get involved in useless sh** and waste my time and energy .. BEWARE OF HCL

What is the standard yearly hike in IT Security industry in North America? KPMG has only mentioned the fixed part of salary in the offer letter. Somehow the recruiter said the % variable part wouldn’t be mentioned in it. While on call she said the variable can go upto as high as 20% of fixed but usually above 10% for an average rating. So would it be right for me to say the CTC is Fixed + 20% fixed without being explicitly said in the offer letter?
