I am getting only 7.5lpa inspite of getting "Strategic Impact" which is the highest reward category. I was supposed to get a skip level promotion which the HR had rejected for some reason. I have an experience of 6 years in Production and Application Support. I have worked as middleware administrator as well for Jboss and Weblogic.
But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.
But I am not sure without any practical knowledge, will I get a job at this many years of experience in a different profile.
