Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

This is vague. Anyways, consulting seems like the obvious answer.
I mean do they have a degree? Do they have work experience? Have they tailored a resume? Talked with people in different industries? Looked into people who made similar pivots? What’s their motivation to switch industries? Are they willing to come in as an intern/entry level? We need a lot more information to actually be helpful.

Government health care consulting.
Agree that consulting is a good option. Also, Project Management is pretty widely applicable to all backgrounds as long as the applicant is organized - could also offer decent exposure to various business functions for your SO to explore.
Startups could be good - given talent shortage, many are willing to consider non traditional candidates (even without boot camps)

Consulting, entry level roles in enablement or workforce transformation, basic PMO. I’d say maybe go get a certification, at a minimum go study the area they’re interested in. For example if they want to be in cloud, look at admin certs, if they want to be in pmo go get the scrum master and brush up on agile/waterfall methods etc.

More context: degree from a solid school, just in the medical field and interested in moving to business. Not talking about starting a business or anything, just interested in working for a company with remote flexibility in a 9-5. I had things like these IT or analytics boot camps in mind. But have no idea how possible that is if you truly don’t have business experience.

Not that dedicated lol. Really just looking for a job with decent growth that can be done remote. I’m not talking about the $200-300K jobs you see on this app, more like $70K with a chance to get to $150K one day.
I’d say have them go into one of the big consulting firms and try to align to life sciences industry. From there try to pick up more “business-y” experience so she can potentially pivot to other industries, functions, etc.
