I have around 2.5 years of experience in a boutique consulting firm and am contemplating between PE vs generalist role. Around 60% of the projects I have done are in PE practice in my current firm so not sure if I am eligible to apply for PIPE/PEPI.

How do you deal with parental guilt when you have to miss things? When my child was a baby it wasn't as big of a deal as long as I was around for the big stuff and was pulling my weight parent wise. Now that they're 4+ everything is big stuff, and every time I can't be there it really affects them. Why most of the time companies have so much disparity between Development and Product team. I can say this with utmost certainty Product team will get way less salary than a developer. I have 10 years of experience and my CTC is less then 5 years of Dev in my organisation.
