Ford is a product based company and has amazing work life balance. You can get off work early by 4-4:30 if you want to travel back home and the work model is hybrid I believe with only two days WFO. I am not sure which department or team you are going to but yes, we don't have login log off timings and no time sheets which makes it very flexible. Morning I come to office only by 10:30 and leave at 4. The people are great as well. I would suggest it's one of the best places to work for.
Also could you please share your experience in terms of performance bonus and hike percentage
Great work life balance here at Ford .
In our team I reach mng before 12 pm and then I can leave between 3-4 pm . Not much work pressure . But less pay comparatively from the market here in Ford . As per Ford 50% days a month wfo is required & if your manager is okay then u can work for a month wfo nd then one month wfh .
Thanks for sharing your experience. It helps 🤝
May I know if you have any idea on NielsenIQ?
I would choose Ford if I am single and Nelson iq if I have family with me....
Someone from north chennai finds it very easy to commute to office (max 1hr) than shols(2.5hrs) in one way.
After few months they will definitely get frustrated in travelling this much daily.
If single, they used to take a PG near by office, which most of my mates already doing who works in shols.
Another point is wlb
NIQ is better than Ford. As Ford expect you to work like one man army to replace any contractor in that team,
While NIQ doesn't have any such events
Considering pay Ford will definitely pay a lot than NIQ,
Singles will only look for CTC.
Person with family will definitely look for everything like travel, wlb, pay.
What's your CCTC?
Pro
Ford for friendly teammates and people here working here for decades Ike TCS.. Flexible timings, no monitoring, no login logout, no WFO pressure, amazing leave policy (70 overall a year), hikes are 8-12%, but promotions r slow as Ford is saturated, amazing office/infra..
By the way how you got the call for both companies.
What is the sg level given?
