Hi folks - I’m looking at changing careers into the mental health profession as a private practice therapist, but I have no clue where to start when it comes to applying to graduate programs in social work and mental health counseling. A few questions below:

Who do I ask for recommendations if I don’t have counseling or mental health experience? I’m worried that I might be let go if I ask current or former bosses at my company. Are there MSW consultants who can help me with my applications?

Just scored 700 on my GMAT and I feel like a bag of crap. For reference, I put in 300+hrs into my studying, which is overkill but the course I signed up for took this long.

Are there any tax professionals in the Lancaster, PA area that are looking to leave public? I have been working as a data scientist since 2018 & have been the bread winner. I have neither been under a proper mentor nor with a team of peers from my field to help me out. I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. I have got Pre hire survey 10 days back from D (requesting for payslip upload and CTC sheet upload) but I haven't heard back anything after that from them. I have a joining into accenture in next 10 days.

Am I being still considered by D (if not I will atleast join acc) , if so how long it will it take from Pre hire survey to offer release usually in D (for consultant position ) ??

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker.
