Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.
Just received an offer from Deloitte (advisory SC, in risk and financial group (gps?)): $152k, $8k sign-on living in DC. Currently $135, but I would have to pay my current company apx 7k to move (payback for TA). DC area, in a highly cleared space. Any recommendations on how to counter or if its worth it?

Hi, what is your NP in current organization and have you already resigned?
Its 90 days..and I haven't resigned yet. I told the HR that once I receive the offer letter I will put down my paper and from that day u can count 45 days
After resignation,you can request your project manager/Area Delivery lead to get early release with the reason that you are not comfortable/ any valid reason with the current project. Keep your HR manager in CC.
In short you have to get approval for getting released from new project that you have assigned to and then you can get early release as well coz no organization want their employees to be on bench.
Thanks..but what that strong or valid reason could be..thats what i m looking for.
