You can start your notice period and ask them to complete the on-site arrangements (approvals, Visa, etc.) during your notice period.
This is one of the most basic things companies offer their employees but often back out later stating some or the other reason.
I already have started my notice period, just got call today thanks for your suggestion
Pls discuss how this is going to be done and how much time it will take to get visa , and to complete process. Take everything on mail.
I have seen many cases where it takes 8-9months generally if manager really have good intentions to send you abroad.
Agreed, let's see thanks for your input
Alot of politics for onsite inside Mindtree. Seen it very closely.
Until you have tickets in your hand don’t believe them. They can even deny onsite even after applying for Visa
Sure thanks 👍
I was given same offer, but I told them to match the CTC and they denied my request. After few days I got call and they offer me both.
Could be just a trap. Ask them about date and exact details.
Are they also giving hike along with onsite? Also it will take time so ask for the exact timeline of the process. Because they first need to initiate your visa process and then find a suitable role for you onsite. So its not that easy as they are suggesting.
Ask them to give 5L more than the offer you're received. For someone about to go onsite, 5L is pittance and they shouldn't deny
Assuming 3 months is notice period , give them a condition that if process complete in 3 months around visa , i will take my resignation back and proceed for onsite , if not they know your plan to move out anyways.
its a trap , Don't fall . Just say match the offer what ever you have now and tell to arrange to Visa process
