Was looking to move up in our company but from what I’m understanding, we have to have a degree in management. How would I go about trying to move up in and out of my position without a degree?

I'm entering my final year of law school but am going part time since I work full time as a paralegal. I have been a paralegal for more 10+ years and I want to open my own firm after I pass the bar.

I've worked at a lot of different size firms including a startup with a few attorneys and I was able to help with a lot of the ground work with getting the practice management system in place and still do some of that now at my current firm. They're offering me a good package with so many career benifits like an onsite, opportunity, certification n good technology exposure. Another offer frm a reputed comp a tier 1 comp not an expectd package n benefits.

She is great to work with and provided my with valuable feedbacks. But there is one problem: she is not involving me in any of the fun work. I had a technical discussion for HCL on 3rd Oct. It's been more than a week. I still haven't received a status on that interview. I have also received a "Resume shortlisted" mail from their careers app after a week.
Does it mean I'm selected? There's no intimation of the status at all. The HR don't reply on mails/calls.
Can anybody advise on this if they been through the same.

My elder brother (2 year elder) and jobless from 8 years (don't want to do anything just sleep all day - he is also a software engineer).

I have to take care of his everything thing which includes his health insurance, his clothes, his daily foods, and other basic things. If i don't do then my mother is getting angry. Also, he Don't respect me and bad mouth about me with our relatives that i am not doing anything for him.
