I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this? I wouldn't have nearly as many issues with conservative principles if they weren't so hypocritical in how they enact them.

I'm not opposed to lowering taxes, smaller government, and respecting individual rights, but they simultaneously support bailing out big businesses, expanding church and state, and massive deficit spending to pay for dumb wars and tax loopholes for hedge fund managers.

We as a community need to stick together to make the value of SLPs known. When I was just starting in the field for my CFY I was offered $31/hr for a job in an SNF (in 2018). At this time I was fresh out of college and did not know what pay to expect because no one talks about it. - I did not take the job due to it being a little over an hour from my home but later learned that was not a good rate.
