Solo trip to europe for two weeks this august, 27/F, deciding between two options: city and beachside or maybe both! I generally like walkable cities, good food, bespoke wine bars, stay a while in cafe scenes. Aside from London, Paris, Lisbon, (been to these cities already) any recommendations?? Keeping in mind that europe is still easing out of covid restrictions, would like to head somewhere that’s going to be more open. TIA :).

So today was my first day on a stimulant (diagnosed as an adult), and everyone says its suppose to feel like *boom* magic, or normal (?) , I guess. Knowing that is figurative, what should I actually be expecting? I feel mostly the same, I think, though I came in and actually did started my work today. But I mean, somedays I do that...I just don't want to psyche myself out if I'm expecting too much. Or pscyhe myself in if I actually might not be experiencing what I should.

Anyone has used hydration pills to get through fasting? Is it helpful?

We can’t have classroom management without taking care of ourselves first. Rest. Even if it’s for 2 minutes. We close our eyes and reset.

Just started Zoloft. Can I drink? I know it’s I’ll advised, but will it destroy my liver or just add to the depression?

Just got offered to join potential project that would relocate me to LA for 3-4 months for onsite work. Their office is downtown, I’m single, 29 have the flexibility in lifestyle for this kind of move. Is it worth coming to LA rn? I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

I you get released from and project and you are in pool under a manager but not RMG in tcs ,and you resign so notice period remains same 90 days or can be reduced ?
