When I’ve worked with service designers the output seems to be another version of a process map, are there other skills and experience needed? I was given a salary range of 95k-100k for a mulit billion dollar company. Senior financial analyst. Is it unreasonable to ask for 110k or 105k if an offer gets extended? Since its late in the year, they said i wont get a bonus or merit increase this next year, could i use this as reasoning behind more money?

I’m scared COVID is just beginning and we’ll see climate change lockdowns and huge restrictions in the next years.

Like travel will probably be restricted for “essential reasons only”. We won’t be able to buy meat as often, etc.

I’m also scared that the QR vaccine passports for entertainment (like in Europe, Canada and NYC) will never disappear and that we’ll keep have to keep using them for our booster shots and maybe climate reasons.
(I’m fully vaxx-for now, untl they require more doses)

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Meanwhile I'm taking other interviews and was offered a promotion at current company, but was very interested in this one. What would you do?
