I'm working on skills to reposition myself from a branch of tech where certifications are mandatory and required to even interview into DevOps or software development. I'm currently taking some online classes in Jenkins, docker, python. I've found a few certifications you can test for. I'd love to be able to go into a mid level position vs Jr in the next few years. PE to HF - harder than it seems?

I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
