Did I lose my chances at BCG north America by giving a preference for middle east?

Recently applied to consultant at BCG with Canada offices as first and second preference and middle east as third (with a 15% interest).

Recently got an interview invite for middle east but nothing for Canada. I'd love to work for BCG but I'd love to be able to do so in Canada. Where do I go from here? Can I request HR to change office or would that make it seem like I'm not interested?

Hey everyone - I could do with some advice. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I am having a hard time getting interview calls. I am trying to pivot from consulting to the industry and targeting project/program management roles. I have been doing this work for 7+ years now (total YOE 12 years) so certainly have the right skillset. I have tried a couple of referrals too but that didn’t help either. I have a third round interview this Thursday, but after I sent my availability, I booked a flight for work that is causing a problem. The interview ended up scheduled for 3:30-4:15, and I'm supposed to be on a 5pm flight out of LGA. Is there a reliably quiet place at LGA to do the interview (I don't have lounge access)? Would it be a bad idea to say my availability changed and I can't do that time slot anymore? Or should I cancel / rebook my flight to later at night?

American airlines is so dumb. Was trying to purchase MCE seats for a long-haul. You can’t
